There was a man who was paralyzed- he couldn't move his legs. He believed Jesus had the power to heal him so he asked his friends to take him to the town of Capernaum where Jesus was. They found Jesus teaching in a very crowded house. The four men tried to carry their friend in to see Jesus but they couldn't get past the crowds. But they didn't give up. They decided to make a hole in the roof and lowered the bed their friend was lying on down in front of Jesus. Jesus saw how much they trusted Him and He said to the paralyzed man, "Son, your sins are forgiven. Rise, pick up your bed, and go home." Immediately he got up, picked up his bed and went out in front of the whole crowd and everyone there was amazed at Jesus' power! Jesus does great things for people who believe in Him.
