On the sixth day, God made the most wonderful things of all. He made a man and a woman to be like Himself. He named the man Adam and the woman Eve. God told Adam and Eve to take care of the earth. He put them in charge over everything –fish, birds, plants and animals. He showed them grain, fruit and green plants for them to eat. Then He told Adam and Eve to have lots of children.
Finally, God finished all His work. He saw that it was very good. So, on the seventh day, He rested.
